06:53 pm [Link]	2007 !! Wow its a new year! Really looking forward to it! I have some fun trips plannned and am looking forward to switching careers. Christmas was fun this year, low key and mellow. Not so much into it this year. Thanks to Stuart and Jeff for putting on a really fun brunch for all the guys. News Years was a BLAST!! Started out at the Hole, had a few beers with Leo and the boys. Then it was off to Brian and Tino's rockin party!! The hotties from Portland Wolfgang and Daniel showed up and we all had a great time!!! What a great way to "ring" in the New Year!! Its been so warm here lately ....mildest winter I can remember. Good weather for working outside and gettin lots done on the house! San Diego is the best! Current Mood: happy (Leave a comment)

08:43 pm [Link]	catching up Well...November was sure a roller coaster ride! Was on the Bears-at-Sea cruise to Mexico, which was too much fun!! There were lots good friends on board from all over the country which made the whole thing one big floating party for the whole week! Stayed with my buddy Mark in a cool cabin...which we basically just slept in because we were out every night till 4:30-5:30 am there was so much to do!! Great T-dances everyday and sitting by the pool meeting hot guys what more could you ask for! Then back home and to work...boy was that a hard change to make! I had been seeing someone for the last 3 months and it was not really going in any direction,but in the end he turned out to be a real ass. Honestly don't ever want to talk to this guy again...I thought we could part as friends but he really treated me so badly at the end I don't want someone like that in my life. So....single again and enjoying that! Thanksgiving was lots of fun! I had been invited to 3 different dinners and since they sort of lined up one after the other I went to all of them!!! OINK ! My friend Patrick started the day off with champagne and cocktails at 10am and then had a beautiful buffet at noon, then it was off to Jeff and Jim's for a sit down dinner at 3pm and a few more drinks, then over to my good friends Erin and Cindy's for another cocktail party and dinner at 7:30 YIKES !! what a day! 06:09 am [Link]	Friday the 13th Well my truck-wreck saga is dragging on. So much for getting it over with quickly!! Arg!! Its been almost 2 weeks and no repairs yet...supposed to happen on Monday the 16th at this point. Went to a really great Chiropractor to work the kinks outta my neck...you rock Casey!! Have been doing a few more appraisals on the weekends...and I'm diggin that! My buddy Dave is a really great teacher ...thanks Dave! My crazy german friend Carsten has moved back to Germany (before he got deported)and I hope he settles in back there as things did not work out too well for him here. New gripe...whats up with friends who don't seem to be too happy for me now that Im dating someone??? I don't get it...but they better GET IT or I won't be hanging around them any more. 10:58 am [Link]	working and playing Past few weeks have been an interesting mix of fun and play. Have pick up some new clients and been working for some of my regulars who I enjoy being around. Have also met some real jerks who have wasted my time and dicked me around!!! Thought that my jerk-radar was always on but the batteries must have died! In particular Weds 9/27 finally met with a guy who was supposedly in a real jam because he's putting his rental property on the market real soon and was over-whelmed by all the work that needs to be done to get it ready. There was a huge list of things to do...which involved a lot of running around town to get prices and such. In the process I was rear-ended at a red light by a woman yacking on her cell phone!! Scared the crap outta me!! It messed up the rear bumper on my truck and her Lexus was pinned under the back of my truck (for 1/2 hr) until a tow truck came and untangled us!! I must say that the front end of her car was smashed to hell!! She came out on the worst end of things...we have the same insurance co. so things should go smoothly getting the repairs done. Back to the customer...after all my running around and a smash-up this ass-hole decides that he will probably do all the work himself!! Now that he had all the info I gathered for him!! 09:45 am [Link]	thinking about 9/11 I cant believe that its been 5 years since the WTC was destroyed. In that time the Bush machine has managed to get us into a war we cant win,ruin any good will toward the USA just about anywhere on the planet and personally destroy any illusion's I may have had that politicians have even one molecule of goodness in them. Its a sad state of affairs to say the least. Iraq is such a big mess which well may haunt the USA for decades to come. Not to mention the countless young American and Iraqis who have died or been damaged beyond belief for one mans massive ego. The men who killed innocent people 5 years ago were crazy fanatics who were encouraged to do it by even crazier fanatics!! For sure they needed to be hunted down and done away with. But I'm not sure that that has even happened.Our current government has in my opinion gone down the wrong path in this endeavor. And by the methods they have used I believe that they have actually made the world a LESS safe place to be. Current Mood: frustrated (Leave a comment)

08:12 pm [Link]	August wow! Well this has been a really great month! First off went to Lazy Bear with one of my favorite & best friends Mark. We had a ball!!! Had a great camp site at the Willows...woke up each morning with the Russian River and HUGE Redwoods greeting us! That was great! Met alot of fun bears...The Carmelites...the Vancouver boys...the great cooking ever pot smoking bears in front of us...who made a mean Marsala sauce! The dances were fun ,the pool parties were crazy and the Sunday big bash was one to remember! Thanks to Vince,Eric,Tony and Matt for making it a hot weekend! And as always Mark was more fun than a barrel of drunk monkeys!!! Love you Marky !! Then home a few days for a bit of work and then off to the wild Northwest with my good buddy Gary. We traveled up to Portland-Seattle & Vancouver. Great road trip! Portland was a bit gloomy but we made the best of it. Had a great and wild speed boat ride for a 1/2 day..met some of the locale yokels at he Eagle ...and had a fun night at the locale Baths ...LOL then on to Seattle! It was really great to see my ex Dustin and his now partner Jim. They made us feel really welcome at their place and cooked a kick-ass steak dinner! Then we met the next night at some of the locale watering holes and really had a blast! Did some tourista stuff the next day and then headed North to Canada.Vancouver was so fantastic! what a beautiful city!! Its so clean and new and happening! Loved it!! wished we had more time to spend there! Then home for a few day and off to San Luis Obispo!! Time for my 30th high school reunion!! So I took another 5 days off and visited family and friends up there in SLO town. It was great to see all my old school buds! Had a great time! Stayed in Avila for awhile at my buddy Gary's place and woke up looking at the Pacific Ocean!! Love that place! As usual I have a 3-day shelf life with my family...so then it was time to come home to SD. Now I'm back and it feels good to sleep in my own bed again! 10:25 am [Link]	long 4th weekend Last weekend was a very long fun time! Rich and Rudy's pool party was a big muscle bear blast as always! Ken and Rick from PS were convinced to spend the night instead of driving home that day. We had a real good dinner at South Park Grill!! Love that place...good food great atmosphere and a very cool 3 piece jazz band for some back ground! The next day we all hit the beach...Blacks was packed by noon and the weather could not have been better. The water was refreshing and the eye-candy everywhere!The guys left later in the day to head back to PS. Monday was very mellow and I planted my vegetable garden out back...putzed around the house and relaxed. Then Tuesday another pool party at Gary and Rob's new house...nice place out in Scripps big house great pool. All the party bears were there and then some! Very fun day! Then went down to the Bay with my buddies Kevin and Bill on the bikes to watch a ton of fireworks!! That was also very fun!! Al-in-all a great 4th of july!! Current Mood: happy (Leave a comment)

08:58 am [Link]	catching up Well .... as usual its been a while since I have put my thoughts down! Always busy with work when home makes it difficult to have time . But, here goes....made a great trip down under in March to see my friends in Australia..Rod,Dave & Geoff. When to Sydney,Cairns and Melbourne. Had a really fun time!!! It was great to see my buddies in Melbourne and they were just the best hosts...they showed me such a great slice of Aussie life! But now back to the grind!!! I hired a few guys to work for me part-time for the summer and that is working out pretty good. Its a mixed blessing at times, I'm getting lots of work done on my house which is the main thing this year...the year of the house LOL. But I also realized that I'm really not the "Boss" type !! I expect the guys to use their heads and think things out instead of each day being a round of 100 endless questions!!!! So I tend to lose patience with them and its frustrating! But over all its working out quite well ! I'm looking forward to the summer and spending more time with my friends. Its the 4th of July weekend and being that the 4th is one of my favorite holidays I'm looking forward to it! Current Mood: chipper (Leave a comment)

04:36 pm [Link]	New Year! Well its 2006! Yea!!My friend Henry had a great New Years party! Lots of fun Bears and friends! I invited about 20 guys over for a recovery breakfast the next day ..yikes! hung-over but pulled it off! Looking forward to a great year! Single again...lots of travel plans...Australia..Berlin...Dubrovnik...looking forward to all of that! Also looking forward to changing careers from Carpentry/Contracting to Property Appraisal. 10:01 am [Link]	Trip to San Francisco Ah....the big bad City! Traveled up north to San Francisco for a long weekend and a little B-day fun! Stayed with my buddies Clark & Bob in the mission area. Met my buddy Drea for lunch and then home to relax. Then it was on to Beary-oke sing along with my friend Mark...crazy! Had dinner with Clark & Bob at Cote Sud in the Castro...very good French food! Then it was over to the Edge's Xmas party with Mark for alot of (bad) drag and lip singing...Ethel MerMan was the best of the heeled herd as she belted out a few great numbers ! Santa made an appearance with a few hot Elves in tow who both showed the crowd "their hot stuff" ! The weather turned nasty the next few days lots of rain and wind...My buddy Mark took me out to a wonderful restaurant for a B-day dinner...its always great to spend time with him! Of course we had to brave the weather Sunday morning and go to Pearl City for some dim-sum and a little shopping in China town. That evening we went to Lone Star and had a few beers with the boys and then on to dinner at Nandra's where we all got stuffed on Thai food.Was a very fun weekend!
